21st Century Testament Extracts
Book of World Leaders I

Chapter I
1. The Books of World Leaders are here to yoke the strength of the words that some of our greatest World Leaders have spoken over the centuries.
2. But the Books of World Leaders are also here to illustrate the way our World Leaders approach issues.
3. If you read carefully it shows both their views towards issues and towards the rest of the citizenry.
4. Some of it is inspiring and some of it is not.
5. Care has been taken to include only those World Leaders of the eighteenth, nineteenth and twentieth centuries who were significant for some positive reason.
6. But it is not a complete representation.
7. It is important to record a wide range of the views from those included to give a clear picture of what comes together to make our most significant World Leaders.
8. Politicians need popularity and one of the simplest ways to get it is the use of Patriotism.
9. Patriotism does not permeate throughout the Books of World Leaders, but it is a recurring theme;
10. And their use of Patriotism in getting messages across helps us acquire a better understanding of our World Leaders, and of the mostly democratic system in which we live.
11. The Patriotic themes aside, a lot of the messages put forward are good;
12. But however good their messages may be, we must never forget that they are politicians.
13. Not because politicians are inherently bad people, which of course they're not, but because as a general rule, politicians do not have the power to act in big issues;
14. In those things that will change our world, politicians do not have the power to act for reasons mentioned time and again throughout this 21st Century Testament, and will be reiterated here now.
15. Any politician who manoeuvres themselves into a senior position in government will owe many people, and this is only important in this point insomuch as it relates to the nature of power, and NOT conspiracy to prevent action.
16. True power is Owed by all, but most senior politicians Owe all.
17. Do not be angry with politicians that do not act on the big issues, because they do not have the power to act.
